Limited Edition Vinyl is proud to announce its first ever record giveaway contest! Hopefully this will be an on going thing, as long as labels and bands continue to send records to give away. The first record we have to give to a lucky vinyl lover is by a band called The Barcelona Chair. This Vancouver post-rock outfit has created a very good release that I have really enjoyed listening too. Don’t worry, the copy I am giving away is brand new and un-played! Fans of any post-rock outfit should enjoy this release which is pressed in a small run of under 500 on transparent green wax. The A side contains the tracks the B side contains a silk screened image, a nice change from the typical etchings that are done on B sides. It comes packaged in a heavy vinyl sleeve with a nice flap and a strap to tuck the flap into, pretty fancy for a self released record. The band is currently selling copies of this LP on their myspace page for $10.

The contest starts right now, entries must be received by 4PM on Wednesday July 30th.
