NYCs Weird Owl returns after a 2007 self released album, this time on Tee Pee records. The album, titled Ever the Silver Cord be Loosed, will be well received by fans of other modern psychedelic bands such as the Black Angels or Dead Meadow. The album is a limited edition pressing on Purple vinyl. I am not sure how many copies of this are being pressed, I would guess roughly 1,000. I got a copy of this album in the mail today. I bought it off of Amazon and the copy I got was pressed on black vinyl not purple (oh well). The music is great though!
