Love Boats debut full length, out on the German label Alien Snatch, is a continuation of what the band started with it’s debut 2007 single. While none of the songs on the album may stick in my head as fast as Love Boat Song, this record is a great collection of highly addictive, danceable rock n roll songs. The record is pressed on high quality 180 gram vinyl and the first 100 copies are on a colored vinyl. The only place to get one of those is directly from the label and it will cost you 11 Euro (about $14 USD) plus shipping. If your in the US and you want a copy you can pick up the black version from Get Hip which is a great place to pick up European releases and this is going to cost you $15 plus $5 for shipping. Thats a deal compared to the $16 overseas shipping from the label. Guess you’ll have to pick between cost or color. Either way, instant beach party.
