Here is a record I should have posted on a long time ago. Released toward the end of 2007, Canada’s The Acorn play a smooth combination of indie rock with a clear folk influence. ‘Glory Hope Mountain’ is a biographical album based on the life of band member Rolf Klausener’s mother. This double LP is limited to only 300 copies. Each copy is hand screen printed and numbered. The second LP features an etching on the b-side by band member Howie Tsui. I am looking forwarded to ordering a copy myself which can be done at the Paper Bag online shop for $20. According to the online inventory they only have 2 in stock so order fast to avoid missing out, I cannot locate another location that is selling this LP.
