Tic Tac Totally has announced it’s latest release by Lover!. While the strange name and the 1995 cover art on this single may not grab your attention the tunes that Lover! puts out definitely should. The best way I can describe the tunes created by Lover! is a mix of good old happy 60’s pop music under the heavy fuzz of say, Times New Viking. Lover! is one man, Rich Crook and has had several limited 7 inch releases and LPs. His newest release, ‘I Am Not A Gnome’ has just been released on in an edition of 600. The first 100 of these singles are pressed on gold vinyl, the rest on black wax. If your interested in this new single I recommend you also pick up the other 2 singles that TTT has available in their mailorder section. The first being a release on Robs House Records which is already out of print. This single, ‘Man In The Woods’ was pressed in an edition of 500 on black vinyl. Also available is the Hozac single called ‘No More Reasons’ which is probably limited to no more then 500 copies.
