Abstract is the debut release from the UK band Lo-Fi Culture Scene. If your a fan of Bloc Party, the Wombats, the Strokes, or any band that has a similar ‘indie’ sound you will probably dig these tunes. Their other myspace tunes even remind me of a lighter, more gentle recent Jay Reatard. The members of Lo-Fi Culture scene are all 13 and 14 years old which is hard to believe after hearing them. I was just getting into music at that age and could not imagine writing and playing songs this good at that age. The future of any band is not guaranteed but even if it doesn’t work out for Lo-Fi Culture Scene, these kids are set for a great career in music. This single is being released by Kids Records, who also released the Wombats debut single. It is being pressed in a hand numbered run of 500 and like all Kids releases comes with a download code so you can rock out in the car our at the gym, or where ever you rock out without a turntable around.
