Originally a small distro filled with obscure, lo-fi, and punk records, Chicago based Rocket Reducer is moving into the record label business. The first release on the label is a 7″ from The Teeners who are an Austin based punk act. The single is limited to 306 copies on red wax and feature a nice wrap around sleeve with some very interesting artwork.  The sleeve also allows for part of the record to show in the back which is a nice touch.   Each of the records are hand numbered as well.  You can check out the bands MySpace to listen to Pill Me and a few other tracks and can purchase copies of the 7 inch here. It’s a good first release for a great small distro so be sure to check out the site and shop around. The update emails will let you know what they bring in and are definitely one of the more entertaining store emails you’ll receive.
