People In A Position To Know were kind enough to offer up a rare version of their new 4-way split Northwest LP on a “red” wax, that is limited to a very rare 5 copies, for us to give to 1 lucky reader. This is the first of a new series of LPs the record label will be releasing featuring geographically centered artists that are all good friends on one LP. This LP features four artists from the Pacific Northwest area, which also happens to be the location of this label. The 4 artist included are Karl Blau, Gift Machine, Graves, and Nate Ashley. This is also one of the better releases I have heard this year and I really recommend that you check out the artists and pick this LP up to enjoy. Maybe it’s just because all the artists are from a cool wet area to begin with but this is a perfect record to take you into the fall season. The 2 standout artist to me are the sets by Gift Machine and Graves. However that doesn’t mean there was anything bad about the Nate Ashley and Karl Blau sets. This LP is limited to 505 copies if you count the “red” pressings that are not for sale. The record is housed in a wonderful hand silk-screened cover that is from a ink drawing from Nate Ashley.
