This 12 inch EP is the first in a series of 3 from Vietnam which are being released by The Social Registry. Like each release, this EP features a song off the bands debut album that is available from Kemado Records. The A side features Priest, Poet & The Pig and Dark End Of The Street. The B side contains a great tune called It’s Not Me, Te Quiero, (w Johnny Torres), and Dorothy, Devil & The Lawyer. The 4 songs off the full length were recorded in the bands store-front studio/apartment which they share with their producer in Brooklyn. It finds the band laid back and relaxed and the results are some excellent tracks. Dorothy, Devil & The Lawyer is especially fun as its a reprise of the first track in what Social Registry calls “marching jug band” style. Each of these EPs are released in a thousand copies on 140 gram vinyl and feature a matching 2 color silk screen jackets. Each jacket is hand numbered and can be purchase at the Social Registry store or possibly your local record shop.
