Limited Edition Vinyl

There are some new releases on Vinyl today that you may want to look into today. Spoons new album ‘Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga’ has been released and for a limited time selected independent music stores will be offering a limited edition 7″ single with the purchase of the new LP.

Klaxons have released a limited edition one sided 12″ hand-etched single called ‘Gravity’s Rainbow’ on Dim Mak records. This release is limited to 2,000 copies and is hand-numbered. This will be the first in a series of 3 12″ remix singles that Dim Mak will release for the Klaxons and the only place I see this available is from insound for a very cheap price of $5.52. Future release dates are unknown at this time but details on the releases will be posted here.

A full length collaboration by the bands Octopus Project and Black Moth Super Rainbow titled ‘House of Apples and Eyeballs’ has been released by Graveface records. This limited edition release of 1,000 copies is available on very sexy colored wax from Grave face or Insound for about $12.

Interpol has released a vinyl version of ‘Our Love to Admire’ which does not appear to a limited release at all. Other vinyl releases this week include ‘Bazaar Bazaar’ LP by Birds of Avalon, ‘Lets Make Love and Listen to Death From Above’ 12″ remix EP of the song by CSS, ‘Super Taranta’ by Gogol Bordello, ‘The Sea and Rhythm’ 12″ EP by Iron and Wine, ‘Tired & True’ by the Detroit Cobras and a LP from the Omar Rodriguez-Lopez Quintet titled ‘Se Dice Bisonte, No Buffalo’. Omar is of course from the band Mars Volta and this release includes ‘Rapidfire Tollbooth’ which has been a fan favorite and live staple for sometime.
