Planet of Ice, the new album from Minus the Bear, is already appearing to be a must have of the year for many. This album is being brought to us on vinyl by Vinyl Collective and is available for pre-order thru their website now. The album will ship in early August however the double LP is pretty limited at 2000 copies so if you want to ensure you get one better order early. The 2000 copies that are being released are being split into groups of 500 and being pressed in 3 colors and splatters combinations and 1 solid metallic silver pressing. All of the pressings are on 140-160 gram vinyl. I am not able to find a picture of the records but I imagine they will look very nice. Vinyl Collective says that the album was mastered specially for release on vinyl which means it should sound excellent.
