New York City based Catbird records is set to release their debut 7-inch single featuring 3 tracks from Get Him Eat Him. Hot on the heels of their new full-length, “Arms Down” (produced by Dismemberment Plan’s Jason Caddell) comes this all-new 7-inch from Providence, RI’s Get Him Eat Him. It’s three non-album cuts: one all-new track, a cover of a Capstan Shafts song (Capstan Shafts = the GBV of the 00’s, if you’re not familiar), and a remix of “Present Tenses” by P-Nice. Catbird recommends this if you like: Dismemberment Plan, Polvo, Jawbox, Smart Went Crazy, Brainiac. This single will be limited to 500 copies pressed in purple wax. Half of the singles went on tour with the band and half are being offered on Catbirds website for $4. Catbird is a boutique label that released limited edition and small run pieces.
